Although the history surrounding CNVRSE began to take shape as early as 1917, the company designed the Chuck Taylor All Star 70s Hi Black and similar models decades later as part of a tribute to the original shoe. The newer silhouette maintains many of the aesthetic aspects of its predecessor, but some of the fittings and materials have been updated as a way to make a robust shoe that CNVRSE fans and footwear enthusiasts might be able to wear for decades to come.
